Join us September 12-14, 2008 for a very special retreat: 

The two very special groups - Quarryville and Ephrata are joining together to encourage widows everywhere by hosting a national widow’s conference at beautiful Black Rock Retreat, outside of Quarryville, PA., September 12–14, 2008. The conference entitled “A Widow’s Journey and God’s Provision” will feature 9/11 widow and national author and speaker Jennifer Sands. The conference will also include Elaine Cook of Nashville TN, founder of W2W, Belinda Graybill, local leader of “Wisdom for Widows” ministry, and many other local widows sharing testimonies of hope. Music will be provided by Nashville recording artist and W2W worship leader, Peggy Reeves and by local artists, Cindy Wilson and Elizabeth Hackman. In addition, there will be humorous skits, nature walks or games, great food and many more surprises.

Widow2Widow®, Inc. is organized to minister to the needs of widows and to assist churches in helping widows of all ages, races, and religious backgrounds to overcome problems in their life’s journey.

To this end, W2W®, Inc. helps to provide support to widows through organized support groups and conferences to help them understand and cope with their problems and concerns, which they experience in their daily life.

W2W®, Inc. helps to establish, extend and promote seminars, workshops and conferences for widows and those who are leading support groups using the Bible and Christian principles.

The organization plans to create inspirational materials and guides to further its goal to help widows to adjust to the change in their lives.

Activities of W2W®, Inc. will take place in churches, homes and other appropriate meeting places and will be led by Elaine Cook and trained group leaders.
